for New Parish Councillors

Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you want to find a way to contribute Kingsley community life?

Would you like to be involved in making a difference in your local area and influence decisions that affect your community?

If the answers are yes, then we’d love to hear from you.

As a Parish Councillor you must be over 18, an elector, and have been living or working in the Kingsley or within 3 miles of the parish for the past year. You will need to be available to attend monthly evening meetings and demonstrate enthusiasm to undertake community focused tasks.

To apply for the role of Parish Councillor draft a letter of application to the Clerk by Monday 30th September 2019 detailing the reason for wanting to become a Councillor, the skills that you can bring to the role and any previous involvement with community or council activities.
