Public Spaces Protection Orders

Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council in exercise of the power under section 59 of the Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 214 (“the Act”)being satisfied that the conditions set out in section 59 of the Act have been met make the following Orders:

Subject to specific exemptions and defences, Persons within the area shown below shall:

On Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th October between 10am and 3pm, Your Parish Councillors will be working on 2 tidy up days in the cemetery

We want to ensure that the grounds are looking their best for the WWI Commemorations

To help out with this, volunteers would be most welcome.

The cemetery is well looked after, but shrubs

and weeds around the grounds seem to have

had a growth spurt during the summer months.

Some of the help required will involve weeding

and pruning plants around memorials.

Other jobs include litter picking, general tidying

and the brushing of memorials.

Rubbish bags will be provided, along with

some equipment, and the Council will arrange the removal of anything collected at the end of the day.

If people would like to bring their own extra equipment it would be most helpful.

Volunteers will need to dress for the occasion.

Strong, comfortable boots or shoes will be needed; gloves are essential if litter picking by hand.

Kingsley Parish Council have received the attached reply from Kingsley Green Belt Action Group ( KGBAG) in response to a request made by The Chairman to clarify the situation regarding monies raised by KGBAG through crowdfunding and pledges. The Chairman also requested KGBAG’s assessment in respect of KTI monies which are currently held in suspense in Kingsley Parish Council Accounts.
