Alice visited us a long time ago and since then a lot has changed in the flower farming industry. She will tell us about growing seasonal flowers the developments in flower farming, developing your own cutting patch and working with wildlife.

Veg growing John shares his experiences of vegetables over many years. John and his wife Coral have had many successes on the show bench over the years as well as TV appearances for their exhibits at RHS Tatton Park Show on a regular basis.

The history and restoration of Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden
Kate is the Outreach officer for the garden and her talk covers the history of the site and the restoration of the glasshouses. She will demonstrate some ways of using the garden’s wonders in our own gardens.

Rev Lucy is relatively new to Foxhill and has met with considerable challenges in taking on this old Arboretum. The plans and evolution after significant storm damage are the subject of this talk and a great opportunity to learn more about gems on our own doorstep.
