Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Mid Cheshire 5k (Spring)
(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on following roads in Kingsley and Crowton to enable the Mid Cheshire 5k Spring Race to be carried out by organiser.
The Order will come into force on Friday 26th April 2024 and will close the following roads from 18:45 until 20:00 for an anticipated duration of 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Roads to be closed as detailed below:
• Mill Lane (from Ball Lane to Crewood Common Road).
• Ball Lane (from Mill Lane to Crewood Common Road).
• Crewood Common Road (from Mill Lane to Ball Lane).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE FOR TRAFFIC
Westbound from Kingsley Road via Norley Lane, Norley Road, Top Road, Brookside, The Cross. Eastbound from Hallow Road via Town Well, Brookside, Top Road, Norley Road, Norley Lane. Pedestrian access to premises situated on or adjacent to the roads will be maintained at all times. Please see map of alternate route
Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
The promoter of the event is Run Cheshire.
