Smishing Bank Account Fraud 22/08/2020

| Good Morning, We have had several reports of bank account ‘smishing’ fraud attempts. Victim has received a text message that appears to be from their own bank, asking to verify a transaction by texting back yes or no. The victim then receives a telephone call and is told they must move money to a safe account. This is a scam! If you do receive a text or call from a person claiming to be from your bank then please do not give any personal information. Hang up, leave the line for a few minutes or use a different phone and always use the telephone number from the back of your card or bank statement. Free Adult Cycle Training
Free cycle training for adults in west Cheshire throughout August. Places are limited.

As a reminder the cycle training is free one-to-one and small group cycle skills lessons for adults who live in Cheshire West and Chester. The training is tailored at a level suited to your needs, based on the National Cycle Training Standards. Choose from Basic (complete beginner), Urban (quiet local roads) or Advanced (complex junctions and busy roads), as well as bespoke Learn to Ride sessions.

Kingsley Parish Council - August Meeting Postponed
Please be advised; the meeting of Kingsley Parish Council on Tuesday 18th August 2020 has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Week ending 7 August 2020
Hi Everyone.
An early update this week as I am finishing tomorrow for a week off. I can still be contacted though if needed .
Plots 10 and 11 and the flats are now up to first lift and are currently being scaffolded ready for the next lift. The next lift on the bungalows (10,11)will take them up to wall plate height which will then see the roof trusses going on,( the trusses are being made locally at Cheshire roof trusses )
The house (5 to 9 ) are now following suit.
We have a road inspection tomorrow which will hopefully then lead to a base coat of tarmac going down.
I have issued a request to all suppliers regarding the correct way to approach site and I am going to monitor the situation very closely, Thank you to Sandie the parish clerk for coming to see me and I hope our meeting proves productive and please feel free to call again.
Finally I have a ubu road sweeper booked for this afternoon.
