Natural England has just updated the Countryside Code, giving it a slight COVID-19 tweak.
Over the past few weeks there have been various instances (countrywide not necessarily in Kingsley) of people not exactly following the code as they enjoy their local footpaths and green spaces. Please
see the poster below ad try and follow its advice when out and about in the country side.

Week beginning 8 June 2020
I plan to have the foundations in for the flats and hopefully plots 1 and 2 that will be all the foundations in then.
The foul drainage should be completed to in the new road.
On Thursday morning (11/06/2020) we are having the full site cabins delivered and the current ones removed , the new cabins are 2 @32 ft. 1@20ft and 1@10ft. They are to form the new site compound and will stay on until completion, they will not be stacked as you sometimes see on sites. Because of this, on Thursday morning we may have to park some of our cars in the road on Higher Heyes just to give the Hiab more room to work with .As soon as the cabins are down we can put the cars back on site
Deliveries next week will be just Mortar on Monday, Wednesday and Friday Pm and concrete as and when needed. Then Thursday the new site cabins. I think there will be 1 block delivery on Wednesday but I will get that confirmed.
Once the new compound is set up and the road is in I am planning on some sort of open Morning, will more than likely be on a Saturday morning where the site will be safe and I can walk round with anyone who would like to look round. Gail Farley has also suggested this and is going to help me set it up. I will keep you posted.
Have a nice weekend everybody
Kind Regards
IAN FORBER.

Good Morning all,
I was going to tell you that next week the first delivery of face brick are coming but they arrived at 7.30 this morning.
The bricks we are going to use for the main build are Forterra Victorian mixture, and for the contrasting panels between some windows we are using Weinerberger smooth reds.
I am hoping to have a test panel built soon in the 2 contrasting bricks and when I do I will send a photo.
This week the surface water drainage was virtually completed, we just have the hydro brake to finish off.
We have started the foul drainage now and that should be completed in the new road next week.
Foundations – we have dug out and concreted plots 10 and 11 (bungalows ) in the top corner of the site backing on to Mansefield Road.

I estimate we are running at approx 90% capacity at the moment which for the current situation is superb.
The lads from Rigby civils are certainly pulling out all the stops and good progress is being made.
DRAINAGE – The attenuation tank went in just prior to lockdown, the Hydro brake at the site entrance is dug and concreted with the 900mm concrete surface water drain running into it from the newly formed road.
The surface water drain is to be completed week ending 29 May 2020 and from 1st June work will commence with the foul drainage to the site.
BT - BT ducting is now in on Higher Heyes drive and while the lads where there they connected the electric ducting up to the hammer head so all that’s left to do in the drive is connection which is only very minor disturbance and I will let you know when I have a date for that.
FOUNDATIONS – We currently have plots 3 to 9 underway. Plots 3 and 4 ( Bungalows) are dug, concreted and have block work footings being built. Plots 5 and 6 are dug and concreted, Plots 7, 8, 9 are dug and were inspected on 29 May 2020.

Temperatures are set to rise over the next few days, please do not leave your dog in a car (sadly some do) as we may have to force entry to your car to save the dog and you could be prosecuted. Dogs die in hot cars, It is cruel. Don’t do it! #dogsmattertoo
