Good afternoon, You’re probably familiar with some of the ways in which fraudsters approach victims - emails, texts, phone calls, letters and sometimes doorstep scams. But did you know that social media is also a favourite place for scammers? This month Get Safe Online’s campaign is all about Social Media scams – and the attached leaflet provides some great tips on how to avoid being scammed on social media. For more tips on staying safe online then visit www.getsafeonline.org Many thanks The Get Safe Online team

Week beginning 6 July 2020
This week the services are being brought on to site from Higher Heyes Drive by BGS. This should only take 2 to 3 days.
The bungalows (plots 3 and 4 ) now have the block and beam floor in place and we are hoping to continue with the block and beam at some stage next week.
This week I am pushing to have the road formed and hopefully soon base coated, this will stop anymore mud on the road and I will be able to off hire the road sweeper. I will however be keeping an eye on the roads and if needs be will call in UBU Sweepers.
On Friday ( 10/06/20) we will finally be getting the larger site cabins delivered and with the services being brought in then we can send the generator away.
We are only a couple of weeks away now from the superstructures being started, then you will see the houses coming out of the ground, I will give an exact date on that as soon as I can.
Kind Regards
IAN FORBER.

Progress Update
Recent photographs can be viewed at https://photos.app.goo.gl/tw7pLbepjnt9xpK89 (last updated 29 May 2020)
Good Morning all,
I was going to tell you that next week the first delivery of face brick are coming but they arrived at 7.30 this morning.
The bricks we are going to use for the main build are Forterra Victorian mixture, and for the contrasting panels between some windows we are using Weinerberger smooth reds.
I am hoping to have a test panel built soon in the 2 contrasting bricks and when I do I will send a photo.
This week the surface water drainage was virtually completed, we just have the hydro brake to finish off.
We have started the foul drainage now and that should be completed in the new road next week.
Foundations – we have dug out and concreted plots 10 and 11 (bungalows ) in the top corner of the site backing on to Mansefield Road.

SCAM ALERT Our Merseyside Police colleagues have told us about someone pretending to be a Fire Inspector from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service. This man says he has to do a fire safety check in homes, and that anyone not letting him in is committing a crime. He does NOT work for the Fire Service. Please do not allow anyone into your home that you are not sure about. If someone says they are from Cheshire Fire Service you can always check by asking their name, service number and then calling to check they are who they say they are. Suspicious activity should also be reported to Cheshire Police
